Igloo medical devices
I've designed the new brand and graphic assets for Igloo – a medical devices company. The main challenge was to create a visual language that would be both medical and friendly, as the devices are used at home and need to be very very clear in the instructions. Unfortunately the project was put on hold due, but I'm still very proud of the work.
The variable type helped us add a lot of personality to the brand, and also to create a lot of different assets for the brand. The type was designed to be used in any size and material – from billboards to tiny plastic molds.
The instructions designs were a specifically hard thing to make right – as they needed to be modular but clear. The people using the devices are often elderly and need to be able to understand the instructions without any help.
I've also designed the packaging for the devices, and made tens of renders to figure out the right layout, colors and placements. That's where my 3D skills came in handy.
I've also created a number of digital interfaces – both for the devices and for mobile app, to go along with the visual style.
